London, UK 5th May 2014. People walk pas a Tower Hamlets sign that marks the boundary of the London Borough of Tower Hamlets next to the City of London. It was recently announced that British police will patrol polling stations in 16 "higher-risk" areas such as Tower Hamlets in London during the May local elections which have been identified by the Electoral Commission as being vulnerable to abuse.
