Relatives of disappeared persons take part in a sit-in protest demonstration organized by Association of Parents of Disappeared Persons (APDP) in Srinagar. The APDP demands the establishment of a commission to investigate disappearances of people in Kashmir since 1989 by Indian government forces in Kashmir. The group says that 8,000 people are missing since the insurgency began and they believe most have been taken by Indian forces and never returned.
