Pinned finger fracture. The fracture is to the distal phalanx bone at the end of the finger. The third knuckle joint has been pinned to stabilise it during healing. The yellow tip of the pin can be seen at the tip of the finger. A skin graft (taken from the arm) was also needed to repair the skin of the finger. This injury was caused by an accident with a router tool.
