PORTSMOUTH, Va. (June 28, 2018) Machinist's Mate 3rd Class Kristopher Cannon and Capt. Craig Sicola, executive officer of the aircraft carrier USS Dwight D. Eisenhower (CVN 69)(Ike) cut a cake alongside members of the Gay, Lesbian and Supporting Sailors (GLASS) chapter 69 during an LGBT Pride Month celebration aboard Ike. Ike is undergoing a Planned Incremental Availability (PIA) at Norfolk Naval Shipyard during the maintenance phase of the Optimized Fleet Response Plan (OFRP).
