Freelander 2 is called LR2 in USA. This hydraulically powered test bed is part of Halewood's Premium Consumer Product Audit. It is computer controlled to replicate the suspension movement and vibration created by by any part of the factory's 21 mile test route, or any road surface in the world, to help track down rattles. Vibrations range from gentle, like driving over a concrete road, to simulating the car being driven too fast across country.
