Just beyond the large boulders a timber trestle once spanned the East Branch of the Pemigewasset River in the Pemigewasset Wilderness of Lincoln, New Hampshire. This trestle, below Camp 18, was in use during the East Branch & Lincoln Logging Railroad (1893-1948) era.
