The families in the US and Sweden have always kept in touch. The property that the family lived in was called Almsätra and was located on Hagvägen 8, Almby. The property was sold in 1973 and had not been inhabited since the mid -1960s. On the site there were later three villas (in 2016). The last one who was permanently accommodation in the house was probably Marta Halldin who moved to Oxhagen in 1967.
