Horizontal wide angle cityscape of the TV tower 'Fernsehturm', and spires of the Rotes Rathaus 'townhall' and Marienkirche.

Horizontal wide angle of the TV tower 'Fernsehturm' taken from Marx-Engels-Forum public park on a bright sunny day with the Marienkirche and Rotes Rathaus towers visible. The television tower was built between 1965 and 1969 by the former German Democratic Republic (GDR), and its image was used as a symbol of Berlin by the East German administration. The tower is visible from most central districts of Berlin, and remains a well known symbol of the reunited city.
