The centre medallion is composed of an interlaced diaper patternin turquoise and cobalt blue. A wide outer border of clouded blue is orna-mented with finely drawn floral and leaf scrolls in turquoise-blue enamel andwhite reserve. Reverse, a border of tree peonies amid elaborate leaf scrolls,painted in fine under-glaze blue. Sixteenth century. Diameter, I5j£ inches. 1192 — Plate. Old Delft.
