NEW [M FERIAL. This valuable new Tomato was originated by Mr. Halliday,of Ver- mont, and was first offered by Wid. Henry Maul, of Philadelphia, last â eason. From the glowing des- cription we became interested, and sent to Mr. Halliday for a few seeds, to test it. We were more than pleased with the Tomato as it. grew in our grounds lastseason is remarkably hardy, vigorous and enormously productive. It is of medium large size, perfectly smooth and solid, and ripens evenly to the stem ; in color it resembles tli" Dwarf Champion or Beauty; cer- tainly the handsomest Tomato we ever grew. Mr. Halliday claims it to be the earliest, haudsomest, most solid, smoothest and most productive variety grown. Our ex- perience will bear him out in all, ex- cept in earliness. With us it is __«= not 60 early as some others. ^S^p We were so well pleased with it^" that we have procured a sup- ply of the seed from the origin- ator, and recommend all to give it a trial. Price, 10 cents per packet; 35 cents per oz. BOND'S Eflrl^LY MINNESOTA. It is of medium size, brilliant dark red, flesh firm aiyj very pro- ductive. Our customers will find it a choice variety to open the market with, before the larger standard sorts have ripened.
