The Lily of the Valley is one of the most useful and greatly admired plants grown; the modest bell-shaped flowers of purest white are highly prized for cutting purposes, and for flowering in pots in the winter they are exceedingly well adapted. ' Beau- tiful and most interesting ornamen- tal designs for the parlor or conser- vatory may be produced by planting the Lily crowns in pots. They will last several weeks in beauty.
