This is the Sha Paran Ferry Shimulia Bangla bazaar route where 5 people were killed due to passenger pressure. Crowds of people are gathering on the ferry as they are traveling back home ahead of the Muslim festival Eid al-Fitr at Shimulia ferry terminal. A large number of people living in the southern part of Bangladesh travel by ferry without maintaining the COVID health safety this year.
