The veteran comedienne and entertainer was promoting her forthcoming show entitled the Best of British Variety Tour 2008, which also featured Frank Carson, Cannon & Ball, Paul Daniels, Brotherhood of Man and Jimmy Cricket. The Krankies comprised husband and wife Janette and Ian Tough and portrayed schoolboy Wee Jimmy Krankie (Janette), and Jimmy's father (Ian), though in their comedy act they also portray other characters.
