Stipules ovate or triangular- ovate, persistent, acuminate, somewhat cor- date, striate, ciliate; leaves petioled; leaflets nearly orbicular, pubescent, I'-iS' long; pani- cles terminal and axillary, loose; bracts decid- uous; flowers purple, 3"-$" long; calyx-lobes ciliate; loment i' long or more, 3-s-jointed; joints obliquely rhomboid below, slightly con- vex above, uncinate-pubescent; stipe equalling or longer than the calyx-lobes.
