NATIONAL TRAINING CENTER, FORT IRWIN, Calif. -- New York Army National Guard Soldiers of Company C, 2-108th Infantry conduct a react-to-contact drill here Oct. 3. The unit, based in Gloversville, , is part of the 27th Infantry Brigade Combat Team, which is training here as part of its preparations for mobilization and deployment to Afghanistan in early 2012.
