Marines compete in a centipede race Oct. 14 against staff and residents of the Tai Chu En Children's Home in Itoman City, Japan, as part of the home's celebration of Sports Day. The race required a team of four people to run to a designated spot and return to the starting point while being tied together at the ankles.
