A Meissen snake handle vase - presented to Acting Officer Rudolf Gasser, in the 'Feld-Flieger-Abteilung 36'. White,glazed porcelain with gold decoration, a hand-painted Saxon coat of arms on the front, and a hand-painted Friedrich-August Medal on the back with the years "1914 - 1916". Dedication inscription on the lid. The blue-under glazed Meissen sword mark is on the bottom. Height cm. Rare and beautiful vase in undamaged condition. The 'Feld-Flieger-Abteilung 36' was raised from the 'FestFA 4' on 22 August 1914, and renamed the 'FA 36' on 11 January 191,
