The frieze is covered withincised lines, and the general effect is crude in comparison with typi-cal jars of either the Algonquian or the Iroquois. There is a lip-projection, and the frieze below it is covered with crudely scratchedlines. Encircling the central portion of the neck is an incised band—an unusual neck decoration.
