Bristol Docks in the early 20th Century looking down from Rownham Hill

From a postcard in my personal collection postal date October 7 1913. Artist/Photographer uncredited unknown. Having once been one of the major ports In Great Britain the harbour is now largely a tourist & shopping area. New docks were opened in the late 19th century at Avonmouth & Portishead to accommodate ships that were then becoming too large to navigate the meandering river into the Port.
