View of Ilfracombe harbour, the Quay and St Nicholas Chapel illuminated at dusk. The North Devon town has seen major investment in recent years largely due to Damien Hirst, said to be the world's richest living artist, who loves the area and holidayed here as a child. The artist put his stamp on the town when he erected a 65ft bronze statue called "Verity" at the end of the harbour in 2012 (see far right of picture).
