A Russian(?) hunting hanger, 19th century, Single-edged blade with long clip point, curved quillon with terminating in deer hooves, carved ivory grip in the shape of a lion (small dryness cracks). Leather covered scabbard with iron fittings and a carry hook at the locket whose reverse cord guide is used together with a recess on the locket to release the blade for severing.
