The compact conical habit of this variety, combined with its silvery foli- age, renders it very distinct and desirable. Hibernica (Irish Juniper). A distinct and beauti- ful variety of erect, dense, conical outline, re- sembling a pillar of green; very desirable. Suecica (Swedish Juniper). A small-sized handsome pyramidal tree with yellowish green foliage; it is quite hardy. Savin [Sabina). A low spreading tree with hand- some dark green foliage; very hardy and suita- ble for rock work. PINE (/"j'nai). Austrian or Blaok (,4z/j/>-/ata).
