Soldiers from the Spruce Production Division of the Aviation Section, Signal Corps, are seen heading to the mess at Hoquaim, Wash. This military spruce camp was established during World War I for spruce loggers. The photograph, taken on February 5, 1918, by photographer Jackson, was released by the War Department's Photo Division on February 19, 1918.
