Ne-Sou-A Quoit, a Fox chief wearing elaborate headdress, earrings, necklace, and fur shoulder garment, as well as a portrait medallion around his neck. The Mesquakie (Meskwaki) are a Native American tribe often known to outsiders as the Fox tribe. They are often closely linked to the Sauk people.
