June, 1835 ; came with his parents to Wisconsin, in184(5. who located at Milwaukee, and remained there until thespring of 1847, then moving to Sheboygan County, and settledon a farm in the town of Plymouth, a mile and a half south of thevillage. His father, Edward B., died in January, 1849. Thesubject of this sketch remained at home, working on the home farmand going to school, teaching, etc., until he reached the age of 22yesrs, then bought himself a farm of 80 acres near the homestead,which he continued to work until 1865, when he was elected tothe office of County School Superintendent; he served as TownClerk seven years ; in 1869 moved with his family to the State ofMichigan ; lived there two years, then returned to Wisconsin, and. bought a farm in the town of Lyndon, where he resided until1877, when he moved back to Plymouth, Wis.; married Nov. 14,1861, to Mariha A. Dockstader, she being born in New York;he is a member of I. O. 0. P. of Plymouth, Union Lod^e No. G7,also the A., F. & A. M., Cassia Lodge, No. 167, of Plymouth. HON. ENOS EASTMAN, farmer, Plymouth; was bornOct. 27, 1821, in the State of New York; ho remained at homewith his parents, working on the farm and going to school until21 years of age, during which time he received an academic edu-cation, and at that age he bought himself a small farm of 50acres, which he worked until 1849, when he sold out and cameWest to the State of Wis
