The Plaza de Armas is the centre of Ancud, a pretty fishing town on the northern shoreline of Chiloe Island. With banks, cafes and restaurants, Calle Eleuterio Ramirez is a busy shopping street leading off from the south-eastern corner of the square (to the left in this view). Cafes and restaurants serve a variety of inexpensive fish and seafood dishes. A quiet Easter Sunday view here.
