Six crystal glass plates from the "Golden Ruby" dessert service, Imperial Russian Glass Manufactory St. Petersburg, 1840 Rose-coloured, stained crystal glass with lavishly cut decoration. Diameters 22 cm. Very high quality crystal glass plates from Grand Duchess Olga Nikolaevna's remarkable dessert service. In 1843/44, an additional dessert service was ordered for the dowry of the Grand Duchess Alexandra Nikolaevna, which may be seen today in the Schloss Fasanerie Museum in Eichenzell near Fulda. Cf.
