Whex tlie case below was seen in March, 1913, little hadbeen heard of this disease. The only reference I had seen was in theLancet of February 8th, 1913, where Dr. Swift and Dr. Sequeirascases were referred Since then several cases have been reported, and Dr. Graham Littlein the Medical Annual of 1918 draws attention to the very remarkable,fact that no authentic case had yet been observed in woman. A married woman, aged 28 years, was confined on December 20th,1912, having previously had two children and no miscarriages; shehad always enjoyed good health. Three weeks after the confinement she noticed a red mark on thedorsum of the left foot; a little later red spots appeared on the rightfoot, both ankles and knees became painful and the skin felt stiff;little bladders then formed with yellow spots in the centre. 196 A CASE OF KERATODEEMIA BLENNORRHAGICA IN A WOMAN.
