The Womens Christian Temperance Unionof the State held its annualj SummerSchool of Method for 1892, at PacificGrove, from July 14 to 20, and was largelyattended; and a very elaborate and interest-ing programme was discussed. The State officers of the Union are: , president; Mrs. Dorcas , corresponding secretary; Mrs. Brown, recording secretary; Mrs. EmilyHoppin, treasurer. Instructor, Mrs. MaryAllen West, of Chicago. Tlje Pacific Im-provement Company donated $10,000 incash, and, besides, eight central lots, uponwhich the hall is located.
