Trifoliate orange fruits (Poncirus trifoliata) on their tree. This plant is closely related to Citrus, and is used as a rootstock for Citrus grafts. The ripe fruits resemble an orange, and though very bitter if eaten raw, they can be made into marmalade. Photographed in China, in October.
