A German silver-mounted ivory beaker, 17th century Slightly conical beaker with continuously carved, three-dimensional battle scene depicting four riders in openwork. The upper and lower rims trimmed with engraved silver fittings with remnants of green enamel, the base plate embellished with ornamental engraving and enamelling (large areas damaged). Silver trim on upper rim has worked loose and been soldered.
