Wren (Troglodytes troglodytes) looking towards urban scene
Wren (Troglodytes troglodytes) Richmond Park, London, UK I spotted a collection of felled wood which seemed to be home, or certainly within the territory, of a couple of robins. They were busy territorially strutting so I set up my seat to get comfy to take some photos of them. Naturally, as soon as I got set up, they flew off. As I was weaiting for them to return, this wren perched briefly and appeared to be looking towards the flats of Wimbledon. I enjoyed the juxtaposition on the park land against the urban background with the wren linking the two.
