Marines with the 11th Marine Expeditionary Unit disembark a Landing Craft Utility (LCU) at Camp Pendleton, Calif., May 13, 2017. The 11th MEU Marines and Sailors landed ashore over three days via Landing Craft Air Cushion, Combat Rubber Raiding Crafts, LCUs, Amphibious Assault Vehicles, and aircraft after their Western Pacific Deployment 16-2. The 11th MEU served a seven-month deployment to the Western Pacific, Middle East, and Horn of Africa.
