This was a very beautiful bird in a cage at the Mello Leitão Biology Museum (now National Institute of the Atlantic Forest), in Santa Teresa, Espírito Santo, Brazil. It was a very large cage with many kinds of birds, but this one was very close to us, looking at the sky, as if dreaming of spreading its wing and flying away.
