Connection wasmade by an arch over the road, and two fine cedar trees whichhad grown to mature years at the edge of the pasture werebrought very happily into the scheme by extending the roadbeneath the archway so as to pass between them. The manuretrolley, obliged to run across the roadway, was arranged tolift at that point. The addition of the young stock wing brought the yard forthe young stock directly on the main road to the farm building,and as the ground sloped there to the south, the yards had tobe raised.
