River crossing


An old bridge built during the Belgian colonial era spans the Ituri River but has seen littlemaintenence over the decades and a similar bridge upriver was brought crashing down when a Kenyan lorry illegally moving 65 tonnes of harvested timber recklessly ignored the 25 tonne weight restriction
