Stanier Jubilee class 4-6-0 steam locomotive Leander, number 45690, approaching Poulton-le-Fylde station on Saturday 13th April 2019 with the RYTC (Railway Touring Company) special train - The Pennine Blackpool Express - which ran from London Euston via WCML to Preston and Blackpool behind a class 86 electric loco before being steam hauled from Blackpool to Preston, Blackburn, Hellifield, Carnforth and Preston by Leander and then electric loco for the final Preston to London. Seen here on the 14:04 Blackpool North to Hellifield Goods Loops leg running as 1Z87. In the background is the start of the old line to Fleetwood which was disconnected from the Blackpool North to Preston line when the line was electrified in 2018.
