His crotons are among the best in town. H. Kraak's extensive landscape work keeps him busy. W. Nelson has about 8,000 Mrs. Rob- inson. Nearly all of them have been sold at wholesale. Verlinde & Vandereeken are bound to have success with their established methods of growing stock for the whole- sale trade. Their nephrolepis in four leading varieties, Latania Borbonica and Araucaria excelsa, as well as the stock plants for about 20,000 young Ficus elastica, are perfect. The firm is delighted with the orders received al- ready for spring delivery of Ficus elas- tica. U. J. Virgin's Areca lutescens are the finest in town, and the plants are all clean and strong. H. Eehfeld is one of the busiest cem- etery gardeners in town. He has sev- eral thousand Robinsons, and judging from the orders coming in, all will be sold at retail. Max Scheinuk had big success with his Mrs, Robinson this year. They can be classed among the best in town. R. E. BUFFALO. The Market. Business has improved wonderfully during the last week. With the be- ginning of social functions, trade has been strongly stimulated, and fall busi- ness has taken on its natural swing once more. Warm weather continues, how- ever, remarkable as it seems for this time of year. Large quantities of chrysanthemums are arriving. Some are good and some.
