The mai-ket as a whole has tightened up somewhat since the last report, but prices, however, have not been ma- terially affected. Some things are mov- ing at slightly lower figures. At the close of last week's business practi- cally everything except lilies, lily of the valley, snapdragon and a small amount of bulbous stock was cleaned up. Sunday brought in some ship- ments of roses and carnations which moved none too rapidly. The sum total of the week's business was only fair. In roses a heavy crop of Brides is coming in and other varieties are of- fered in goodly numbers. The supply of American Beauties, especially long ones, seems more than adequate. The cut of carnations seems to be reducing and as a result the good stock cleans out rapidly. Outdoor tulips are coming in. Spanish iris are being offered. Cape jasmines from south Texas a,re in full blast and some are being used for corsages. Sweet peas find a good steady call. Southern ferns are now in- cluded in this list of green goods and other supplies in this line are ade- quate for all needs. CLUB IIEETIXG.
