Giant jelly ascidian (Polycitor giganteus), a colonial animal with numerous retractible zooids usually embedded together within a test.


Each zooid has a separate inhalant and exhalant siphon. The zooids, either white or orange, retract deeply within the test when disturbed. Grows to 30 cm tall.
