We arelooking to Him to save many precious souls here, yea, this for us in our school-work, for there are many things we haveto contend with that I need not speak of; but you can help us byprayer. The house is rented for the girls school and we will geteverything ready to open by Chinese New Year, when all schoolsproperly open in China. Mr. Old-field and I drew plans all day while Wilmoth attended to mate-rials, workmen, weighing, reckoning, etc. We all came togetherabout the plans. [January We decided we could not build separately onthe present property and the thing to do was to go ahead with atwo-story building, residence above. [January 25.] Began foundation of the chapel and mission-house; two stories, praise God! It takes up the greater part ofthe front yard. Long we have prayed and looked for this day tocome! God is so good to us. I want to be alT He wills. [January 28.] Feeling very nervous and not very well; stomachstill troubling me. [January 29.] The garden
