A Venetian sword, 1480 - 1500. So called "spada schiavonesca". Broad double-edged blade of hexagonal section, sharply tapering at the point and bearing the Belluno bladesmith mark (nodo bellunese) as well as a mark of an Ottoman arsenal. Forged iron hilt with S-shaped quillons, the grip with leather covering over a cord winding. Length cm, blade length cm, Width of the blade cm.
