TO THE CITY COUNCIL: Gentlemen,— Agreeably to an ordinance requiring the Superin-tendent of Public Buildings to report annually, in the monthof January, to the City Council, the condition of the publicbuildings, the expenditures thereon, and the nature of suchexpenditures, I herewith submit the following Report: Public Buildings. The whole amount appropriated for the repairs of PublicBuildings, was $2,298 76. Amount expended, 1,087 83. Huntington Hall. Of the amount expended on thisbuilding, the greater part was for carpeting the aisles of thehall; the remainder was for incidental expenses, the amountbeing $291 70. Government Building.
