5TH FLEET AREA OF OPERATIONS (Nov. 16, 2018) Machinery Repairman 1st Class Laura Skipworth holds a training flag during for an aircraft fire fighting drill on the flight deck of the Arleigh-Burke class guided-missile destroyer USS Jason Dunham (DDG 109). Jason Dunham is deployed to the 5th Fleet area of operations in support of naval operations to ensure maritime stability and security in the Central Region, connecting the Mediterranean and the Pacific through the western Indian Ocean and three strategic choke points.
