A Whitebanded Crab Spider (Misumenoides Formosipes) was found sitting in a flower at Alice Keck Park Memorial Gardens, In Santa Barbara, Calif. This spider ranges from California to Florida, though it is not commonly found in the northwestern or the Great Basin. It has also been found in Canada but only Ontario. Habitat is flowers and garden areas. The magnification is handheld.
