G-BSAJ a Luftwaffe Bucker Jungmann basic trainer on a fly past.


The German Bücker Bü 131 "Jungmann" was a 1930s basic training aircraft which was used by the Luftwaffe during World War II. Bücker Flugzeugbau GmbH was founded in Berlin-Johannistahl in 1932 to produce aircraft, the being the Bü 131 Jungmann. The Bü 131A was the last biplane to be built in Germany. It had two open cockpits in tandem, and fixed landing gear, with a steel tube fuselage covered in both fabric and metal, with the wings being made of both wood and fabric. Its first flight was made with a 80 hp (60 kW) Hirth HM60R engine, later being replaced with the 105 hp (78 kW) Hirth 504A-2.
