The Ashland Landing Ship attached to the 31st Marine Expeditionary Unit sails off the coast of Saipan, Commonwealth of the Northern Mariana Islands, to provide support for relief operations, Nov. 8, 2018. Task Force-West was stood up by the Indo-Pacific Command and is responding to the devastation caused by Super Typhoon Yutu Oct. 24 and comprises more than 800 active duty, Reserve and Guard service members from more than 20 different units across all branches of services.
