PROMPT AND COURTEOUS ATTENTION TO YOUR NEEDS. with their ladies, are to be his guests at a luncheon-meeting at the Northeast Greenhouses, operated by Gude Bros. Co. The event is scheduled for November 15, and the invitations are being sent out now. Mr. Gude says, however, should any florist Rotarian fail to receive an in- vitation, or if it is delayed, this an- nouncement should be considered as suf- ficiently personal to induce him to come along anyway. The invitation to the florists is as follows: The members of the Rotary Club of Washing- ton and their ladies will be the guests of Gude Bros. Co. at a luncheon meeting at the green- houses In Northeast Washington on Wednesday, November 18. The guests will assemble in the potting room at tlie plant at 12 o'clock, luncheon to be served soon thereafter. On the completion of the luncheon a tour of the greenhouses will be made. It would give me a great deal of pleasure to have you join us on this occasion. Won't you try to arrange n visit to Washington and let us give you a real Rotarian welcome? There are about 165 members of the Washington Rotary Club and prepara- tions are being made for the enter- tainment of about 300 persons. Various Notes. A number of visitors from other cities were in Washington last week and among these were C. B. Knickman, of McHutchison & Co., New York; J. T. Remley, of New Orleans, La.; J. O. Young, of Atlanta, Ga., and John A. P>ans, of Richmond, Ind. T. N. S. ELYRIA, O. Owing to the unusually warm weatlicr for this season of the year, chrysanthemums are much advanced; conseiiiu'iitly, there are plenty of flow- ers and l)usiii(\ss is none too brisk. There now is an oversupply. Harry Heel has worked for the L. C. Ilocock Flora
