Beautiful light at Starehole Bay, Near Salcombe, South Hams, Devon, England, UK

Starehole Bay is only accessible by boat or by a beautiful walk from Salcombe past North Sands, South Sands, along the coastal path via Sharp Tor. Seriously impressive views and landscape! Walking down to the beach there is a small cove, with plenty of rocky areas. The bay is very sheltered and it usually has extremely flat water. The calm sea and the rocky topography makes for lovely clear water and it's a lovely swimming area directly off the beach. However do watch for boats as the flat water is a magnet for fast boats and water skiing or wake boarding.
