Carcross Carcross is the transfer point for the Atlin Lake region, andthe time spent in Carcross awaiting connections with eitherthe steamer or the train can be used to good advantage in seeingthe various points of interest, including the Indian Village closeby, also the Indian School about two miles distant. Those wholike fishing will have an opportunity to try their luck and skillin landing lake trout or the smaller but gamy grayling.
